Sources
We've included a list of sources used in the Encyclopedia. They're located in the files:
Bibliography Articles
Bibliography A to M
Bibliography N to Z
Telecommunication Act
The Telecommunications Act of 1996 resides on this disc in two formats. There is an Adobe Acrobat file TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT and a text file TELECOM.TXT in the root directory of the CD-ROM. If you do not have a copy of Adobe Acrobat installed on your system the files needed to install the Acrobat reader are in the Mac Install directory.
System Requirements
The following system requirements are needed to run the software:
- 5 megs of RAM
- System 7.1 or later
- 2X CD-ROM drive
- Screen display capable of thousands of colors
- QuickTime 2.0
Installation
The Encyclopedia runs off the CD-ROM. There is a folder called Mac Install that contains Quicktime 2.0. Drop these files on your system folder if you do not have them installed on your system.
This program has been designed to run with a video driver that is set to 16 or 24 bit color (thousands of color or more). This program will run in 256 colors, but video, text and graphics will not display properly.
We recommend that your video driver be set to 640x480 resolution to allow play back at full screen. The application will play in higher resolutions but the display area used on the screen will be smaller.
